The `transform.HTMLEscape` function escapes five special characters by replacing them with [HTML entities][]:

- `&` → `&`
- `<` → `&lt;`
- `>` → `&gt;`
- `'` → `&#39;`
- `"` → `&#34;`

For example:

```go-html-template
{{ htmlEscape "Lilo & Stitch" }} → Lilo &amp; Stitch
{{ htmlEscape "7 > 6" }} → 7 &gt; 6
```
